It was at BRC's Clearing Yard on the 5th and 6th with a special Dow safety train, then it was in West Chicago on the 8th for the same thing. Here is a photo I took of it at BRC's Clearing Yard in Bedford Park. Trains Planes and Automobiles

I've seen it a half a dozen times or so this year in Houston. I work in Magnolia, TX which is on the line from Spring (north of Houston) to Hearn and on to Ft. Worth. I saw it go by in 3 consecutive weeks last month! This week I saw the MOPAC engine go by earlier this week.

It arrived in Proviso, Il this morning at 7 AM after pulling a special up from Texas. It's being held by the loco desk for placement currently.

I haven't seen a thread in which anyone mentioned seeing it for a month or two now, but I believe someone would have said something if it wasn't operating.   The UP seems to make an effort to keep it in the Texas area, although from time to time someone will report seeing it elsewhere.
