Yep, it's regularly out and about. Last year it double teamed with UP 844 up in the Pacific Northwest.

Not so much preserved in a museum but maintained in running condition. Its next outing is set for mid June.

Southern Pacific Daylight, Engine 4449

Does anyone know what happened to the Southern Pacific Daylight, Engine 4449?  That is one of my son's favorite engines, and I know he would love to see it.  It has to be preserved in a museum somewhere.  If anyone knows where, please advise!  Thanks.
