How many CP Control Cabs (If any) are left in service? I'm talking about the rebuilt C424's and GP35's I believe? (1100 series and up)
Thanks!

CP rail took some old retired locomotive C424's a couple old GP35's removed the prime mover but left the train controls in them. They were tacked on the end of satck trains or other high priority unit trains, where time was money. They would run the train back using the control cab locomotive instead of breaking up the train or turning the head end power around to run the return train back. Kind of a real life "dummy" locomotive. from what I understood the CP train crews hated using them, as after the conversions they lost alot of their creature comforts, like heaters etc.
