Hi, am a newbie to trains and this website, I have a Post-war O Gauge electric locomotive with the number 675 on the sides of it.  My objective is to restore it, purchase track, transformers, contactor, breakers and anything else that it needs.  I have ordered a books on the process of doing the restoration, could someone tell me what voltage drives this particular locomotive?

I am really enthused about this project, so if my questions doesn't make a lot of sense, be patient with the, as I said I am a newbie.  The train set was purchased for me while a small boy by my father and hopefully I can get it up and going just as it did many years ago.

Thanks much for your inputCowboy [C):-)]

I think you may have better luck in the General Disscussion (Classic toy trains) (pardon my spelling). That area is filled with all sorts of people that are always willing to help. Another popular area is the General disscussion (Model Railroader) which will always have feedback within a day or two. This section is dedicated to talking about 1:1 scale locomotives (the REAL thing).

BTW You will probably get alot of Sign - Welcome [#welcome] signs and tips for first time posting, so make yourself feel welcome!
