I will probanly leave them off for now as they are easy to add later on. I just wish I had a digital camera so I could post some pictures of my other locomotives as well as the GP38's when there done!

I think that should fit the period..when CN started ordering Dash 9's in '93/94, they came with the rear plows. I believe other locomotives were being retrofitted around this time or earlier, including the GP38's. Couldn't say for absolute sure, but you should be safe modelling it.

At around what time did CN start adding snowplows to the long hood ends of some of it's GP38-2s? I have seen some like this in my area and would like to build an HO model of one .I model the period 1993-1996 and wonder if they would be out of place.
