Can't you see the "whiskers" of a catfish?
This is a new one for me. Geeps, Cadillacs, Pooches, U-Boats, Love Bugs, Toasters, and now Catfish. What are some other nicknames I've forgotten or didn't know about?

I call most of CSX's widecab GEs 'ButtBoats'. :B
Deggesty Zug, that was my thought when I read your comment earlier this morning. When I saw the picture of the NS locomotive, I immediately thought of the "whiskers" the PRR locomotives had. (You did mean "obviously," didn't you? Though, they may have seen whiskered PRR locomotives and were oblivious to the similarity.)

Dam speelchecker. I'll blaim that.
...because they come from a part of the country where catfish is most often on the menu under "seafood".
