Pennsylvania RR Congressional Motive Power
Posted by rcsteamer on Friday, August 3, 2007 7:52 AM

Looking for information on what types of locomotives the Pennsylvania RR used to haul the Congressional besides the GG1 if any.

Thanks, Sam Karpel

When the AC electrification was completed, P5's were used on the Congressional.  Problems with the P5's led to the investigation and tests that led to the development of the GG1.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
