The end of an era. Say what you will about the Milwaukee Road but I have to say, some of their equipment has longevity. Coffee Creek Pullman Skytop Obs at Aberdeen, Carolina and Western, Pullman Jefferson River, still in Milwaukee paint (UP Colors) with a decent inside preserved time capsule like went to the railroad Museum in Mason City, IA. Now I read the Illinois Railway Museum has approx 4-5 maybe more Milwaukee Passenger cars from the last Hiawatha era. It's good to see all this stuff preserved. Hoping the Locomotive is preserved as well.
