With CSX putting out a series of Heritage Units, in the vein of Norfolk Southern, how many "Dual Citizenship" Heritage Units could we end up with?
What I mean by that is heritage units on both railroads for the same fallen flag.
Just for fun.
I bet there could be quite a list.
I'll lead off with these examples:
Conrail (already on both CSX and NS)
New York Central
PRR, parts of the St. Louis line went to CSX.
B&M/PanAm on the Hoosic Tunnel line.
L&N tribute engine was just released from Waycross paint shop.

I wonder if the Shared Assets geneology of those lines might generate others.
I am not that familiar with them but might Jersey Central, Erie, and Lackawanna be contenders? Maybe Lehigh Valley? Penn Central?
Conrail Shared Assets Operations is a jointly owned subsidiary not unlike Belt Railway of Chicago or other terminal operations. By definition, the heritage of its lines would convey "dual citizenship" ancestry to both CSX and NS.
