Like me, you should certainly be forgiven.  (87)

Should I replace the photo with one showing my age?

I don't know about the photo, but I can only hope I'm as sharp as you are when I reach that age (IF I reach that age).

I think we can guess from the sepia tone photograph, that it was taken some time ago.

I'm not sure what happened. I did post twice, because after the first time, it did not appear. I even looked at the list of my recent posts, and it had disappeared. ??? So I posted again.

Now it appears the first one materialized, but instead of being in Locomotives, I must have actually put it in Steam & Preservation.

Sorry. I'm old.

What happened to all the responses I remember reading to this question?  Did he ask it in more than one forum?

It's a LNG tender, for supplying LNG to the locomotive.

FEC operates 'dual fuel' ES44C4s.

Mystery car between engines

On Pg. 13 of the current (Jan.) issue of Trains, there is a photo of an FEC train crossing a bridge. Between the two engines is a an unusual car. Does anyone know what that is? Maybe something in need of special handling? Some kind of alternative fuel tank car? I don't think I have ever before seen a car sandwiched between units like that.

Still in training.
