Do these type of locomotives have 2 throttles, one for each engine, or is the throttle integrated into a single one operating both engines?

Single throttle - the idea of distributed power had yet to be thought of.  Outside of the Engineers hands on the throttle and the sanders, the wheel slip control was nonexistent.
