Having the time and energy, I decided I didn't want to miss out on the first run of the restored 4014 plus the 150th aniversary of the Golden Spike.

Very nice. Oltmannd! I especially appreciate the broadside shots because they really convey how enormous that locomotive is!

Nice photos Don. Looks like you had a great trip. Did Ed Dickens still have that nice big smile he had when he arrived in Ogden? A smile that said he had accomplished what he had been assigned and brought it in on time and was proud of it. He had the support of the RR and a good team. That was an awesome job to rebuild 4014.
