Ah so.

This is the likely resolution of the 'speculation' about the E9s having to push a 4014 developing 'just enough steam pressure to blow the whistle and lubricate the cylinders'.  Y'all were indeed wrong; it will be steam, not E units,  that will do the pushing... Devil

Seriously, I expect break-in running for full operation to be "complete", if a bit down-to-the-wire, by the 4th.  The question is whether any subsequent 'failure on the road' during the excursion should actually be considered inadequate break-in testing...
