Several classic diesels are also listed as for sale. I believe these are from the Gold Coast Railway Museum in Southeast Florida.

I treid to get the particulars on that FEC Pacific, but it looks like you have to be a member of that particular website to do so, which I'm not going to attempt.

Unless I miss my guess, 113 hasn't been run in years, if not decades, so it's anyones guess what kind of condition its in.  It looks good in the photo, however.  I wonder what the price is?

I'm assuming the Gold Coast Railroad museum is de-accessioning articles considering the diesels that are for sale as well.  Fund raising?  

I wouldn't mind having it myself!  I could turn it into a pretty good replica of an Erie K1, the configuration looks pretty similar.  Gotta buy a lottery ticket I suppose...

I believe 148 is close to 113.  148 is being rebuilt.   Knew 148 on the Morristown and Erie back in my collage days.  Rode once in her cab.  Try searching on 148.

I went looking for 148 and I see US Sugar's got it and are going to bring it back to life.  Good for them!

I looked up the Gold Coast Railroad Museum and I see 153 is still in residence, but not operational.

I'm sure you'll like this!  I found some old footage of 148 running during Ridgewood (NJ) Railroad Days in 1975.   I was probably neck deep in the Marine Corps at the time or I would have ridden it myself!

I suspect the fireman's hamming it up a bit with all that smoke. 

I checked some old rail museum guides I've got and it looks like 113, 148, and 153 are 1912-1913 vintage machines.  113 was running as late as 1990 at the Gold Coast but after that I'm not sure.

 I think the 113 last ran in the late 1980. The last time I saw her  shes was in pretty rough shape.
