Spending a whole day examining the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern website could be very worhwhile.  They really could teach Class Ones some lessons in my opinion.

You should have a separate thread for 2100 as the effort is completely different.

Recent coverage of progress on RyPN.  Look up the details of their 'staybolt challenge' and consider buying a couple.  The general progress is reasonably well charted and, while running is still somewhat far away, there is little doubt the restoration will 'get there'.

Well, what's happening with the 2100? Hopefully she will run with the 2102 someday SOON!

Reading thier home page it's amazing what they have done in both freight and passenger service. An amazing come back.

And from all I've read, the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern is a class act all the way, a great place to work with sky-high employee pride and morale.

You must not have looked too hard, as an update was included in the latest R&N employee magazine. It's available for public viewing by going to the website: rbmnrr.com/news, scroll to bottom of the news column, and click on the cover of the latest magazine, the 2017 review issue. There is a brief update from the steam dept., with 2 photos of 2102 work in progress. There is also mention in the Facilities review of an addition being built to the steam shop. All back issues are also available for viewing. One interesting fact is that #425 traveled 1800 miles last year without a major malfunction.

If Andy Muller says it's going to get done, it's going to get done.

Hey, he recreated the old Reading Outer Station for his excursion trains, didn't he?
