Nice tour today with girlfriend. Just in time for a guided tour of the backshop. Been to Steamtown three times but never was able to see the backshop. Not much being done so we could tour with a guide who watched everyone one very carefully.
Turntable is being overhauled. No rails or ties. No steam excursions. They are getting ready for Railfest 2014.
Place is looking good so far. Maybe twenty five people were there for a couple hours while we were there.
