I've been shopping this photo around to see if anyone knows the heritage of this locomotive, My guess it came from NYCRR or near Central New York. The photo was taken in Marcellus NY on the Marcellus & Otisco Lake Railway  sometime in the 30's possibly early 40's.It was not a locomotive that the M&OL ever owned and is not their #3. So....in short who's the builder and what railroad did this come from.
