M-1000 to much like an automobile for me, prefer the Pioneer Zephyr, type design reaching its ultimate in the Electorliners.  If you want a hood-in-front, the E-5/E-6 (yes EA-E3) or an Alco, DL-109, FA, PA, please.

Hey, would it not be great if the Flying Yankee and an Electroliner were to attend?   They are doable.

Enjoy the road trip 611!  Show those smelly 'ol diesels what a REAL streamliner looks like!

A real Streamliner looks like M-10000, the first Streamliner.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Hey, wouldn't it have been cool if the streamliner festival took place on Saint Patrick's Day?

They could have dropped a green smoke bomb down 611's stack!

And to think, her arrival in Spencer is scheduled for 611's birthday. I just have to wonder if this was intentional.

And I know of one lady who is probably already ready to go. To think, she's been waiting nearly 20 years for this moment.
