Cool When u r the oldest railroad in America u can do it with both style and grace. god bless " Uncle Pete " Bow

I didn't know the Straburg Rail Road was involved.  Will they be turning the drivers on their wheel lathe?

Note that the Srasburg RR was chartered in 1832, thirty years before UP.  It has been fully operational since 1837.

I noticed that as well and noted it on the other forums.  Surprised nobody else mentioned it or even acknowledged it!

Diesel 4884 pulled the  big boy  4-8-8-4.  That is a nice touch  UP  that no one has noted yet.

It is nice to see a 4-8-8-4 (4014) back on a mainline heading to more inspections and display at Colton. It should be in Cheyenne in a month or so and then the work begins. CZ
