I wouldn't mind seeing the diesels, either. A very high percentage of India's diesels are powered by 251 engines and look like they ride on tri-mount trucks.

Hey selector, thanks for the posting! I'm not surprised at this, who doesn't love steam? Listen, several years ago I watched a "National Geographic" special on India. One of the topics was the Indian railroads and their phasing out of steam in favor of diesels. If the special was to be believed the men who got the trains over the road weren't crazy AT ALL about the change and loved their steam locomotives. I don't remember the title of the show but it also showed one of the Indian "Dress up your Steam Locomotive" festivals. Just fascinating to watch, like a Colin Garret book brought to life!
