The 94 and the 334 are both still in Rio Vista.
I believe the last time 94 say steam was in the late 50s or early 60s.
May I ask here what happened to WP 94? Last I remember it was at Rio Vista. I was there when the locomotive was steamed up for the 1st time after arriving at the museum. How many years ago.
Thx IGN
Great.
I wish I could say the same thing about J 611.
Largest WP steam power saved is 2-8-2 334 at Rio Vista, CA, I believe
Even a small picie of Western Pacific steam being returned to life is a victory. I would love to see one of thier GS series returned to steam But I know they didnt save any did they? just asking Larry
I like this quote on their blog; "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. "

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.
