It would appear Pere Marquette #1225 has fully recovered as seen here on her recent outing during a Lerro Productions charter held August 28th through August 30th, 2009. The SRI crew swapped out about 20 tubes replacing the damaged tubes as well as a few nearby tubes as a safety precaution. The tubes came from the Milwaukee Road #261 groups new stock. The Berkshire was fired up and moved again on her own power for the first time since Trainfest only 24 hours prior to the beginning of the charter and she performed flawlessly! All in all - things panned out very well! /Mitch
