Nay Aug Park - CN #3254 at speed from the rock cut at the WEST SIDE of the Portal!

Like a mouse in a maze, I finally found "a" path to a location that I had been after for years!

Canadian National 2-8-2 #3254 at speed, nice plume, Eastbound, as seen in Nay Aug Park at the rock cut near the Roaring Brook just prior to entering Nay Aug tunnel in Scranton, PA.  A scene that will make you think twice about the need to travel West for a good mainline steam excursion!  Though I had to leap the "Roaring Brook", a name that I can verify it's meaning, another way back I discovered is via the trails of the park which is most easily accessed by the playground - save yourself a slippery leap by the falls - take the pedestrian bridge!

Enjoy!

CN #3254 in Nay Aug Park from above! and while we're at it, another unique vantage point of

Steamtown's newly painted Big Boy, as well!
