Try www.yellowribbonexpress.com. Regardless of our bets, there are still plans for C&O no. 614. Only time will tell on what will become of those plans.

My personal bet is that Ross Rowland will never live to see 614 run again.

She needs far too much work, and clearly, he does not have the money to re-restore her. No one else is going to do it for him.

She would need to be sold to some group that has the cash to do it. (I know of no such group)

I just don't see him letting go any other way.

Note the web page has not been updated since 2006! Hmm.

The 614 is in a storage type condition and would have to be at least certified to run.  The cost of doing this is probably what is preventing any trips like this.  It was thought that Ross was going to run a train again much like the Freedom train of "76" but no more information on that at this time.

The web page for the 614 is listed above.

Will C&O 614 Attend?

Any word floating around whether C&O 614 will attend Train Festival in Michigan?  Is she presently in operable condition?  I searched their website and the most recent photos I could find are from 2006.  Do these pictures depict her state in 2009?
