I'll take those images as a "Yewbetcha!" to the question, "Did you have a good day?" , CZ. Nice shots!

Thanks for the complement. It would have been hard to mess up those shots today with such great weather and subject.
My total pictures for the day was just over 600 files and it was a great day seeing the 844 again. The display tomorrow in Roseville includes one of the big rotaries with the F7b unit, several new Generation switchers, a new Gevo, the Daylight E9a from the CSRM, two GP38-2's connected up to a flanger, 1983 and the 1996 Heritage diesels and of course, the 844. And next to the display area is the 2252, a SP 4-6-0 that was used on the fire train in the Sierra's for close to 40 years.
The Union Pacific is celebrating the 100th year of the founding of the Roseville yards and shops and they know how to celebrate with both the new and old. I waitied for the 844 at Colfax today and it seemed the whole town was waiting for the 844 at the 15 minutes scheduled stop. It was great and you can see from the pictures, spring has arrived.
I plan on catching it out of town on Monday morning and then it returns to Roseville for four more days next week before the Oroville and Portola Celebration the following week.
