Those of you that know me, know that I am a huge fan of the bicentennial era American Freedom Train. That 4449 was on the point when I first saw the train didn't hurt! Anyway, I hope someone out there can help solve one of the mysterys of "where are they now" ... Here goes: When were AFT cars 20 and 33 added to the AFT consist? Where are they today? I have pictures of of the AFT in mid April 1975 ... no 20 or 33. Fast forward to late 1975 and a 4449 powered AFT ... 20 and 33 are there.
On the definitive site for AFT fans (www.freedomtrain.org), there are pictures of both cars and they are tracked through 1981 ... here is hoping that one of you can solve the mystery!!! Regards, Burlington John
