The track is owned by the Bureau of Reclamation, they want the YV to do $100,00 worth of track work,no money is avalable to do this.

They are not running. Don't remember the reason for the embargo off the top of my head, but it's still in place. IIRC, the embargo was placed due to the landowner's desire, not the FRA or other regulatory matters.

Does anyone know if the Yuma Valley Railway in Yuma, Arizona has resumed excursion trains or is it still embargoed? I heard it has been embargoed since 2005. Does anyone know why?
