I have an Alco S1 in england and am rebuilding it to operate in england near peterborough, I am looking for spares etc... for an S1 anyone with any ideas?

What kind of spares are you looking for ? I am involved in the restoration of Alco S3 here in Canada so may be able to point you in the right direction if you can be more specific.

Many thanks for getting back to me, The S1 has been stored outside for many years and the cab has had abortive attempts at restoration by others and has many parts missing. I have spare traction motors and bogies along with 8 spare tyres, i am making up a list of parts required at the moment a lot of stuff has been removed or LOST! by person or persons unknown, I would like to complete the cab area so the public can view it whilst i get on with the dirty work of actually getting the old girl running again.
