You are referring to San Luis & Rio Grande RR (Permean Basin Railroads/ Ed Ellis) and not San Luis Central RR (Ed BurkhardtRailWorld) or the moribund Southern San Luis Valley RR (Ellis is in the process of buying what little is left, so we are told, does he get the D-500 critter?)

THE SAN LUIS RR IN ALAMOSA ,COLORADO HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE LAKE SUPERIOR & ISHPAMING #18 & #20! #18 WILL PULL DAILY TRAINS WITH #1744 IN 2008! THE #20 WILL JOIN THEM IN 2009 OR 2010! THE #20 & #18 ARE 2-8-0'S, THE #1744 IS A FORMER SOUTHERN PACIFIC 2-6-0.
