When I attempted to view the photo I got a screen with German language requiring registration. There are other websites (Railpictures.net I believe is one) where people can view posted photos without having to register.
If the photo cannot be posted to such a site, perhaps "Krokodil" could dsecribe the parts of the locomotive of interest to him. I do know that C&O #1309 is a true Mallet 2-6-6-2. It is Class H-6 and was the last of ten such locomotives built in 1949 by Baldwin in Philadelphia. They were the last steam locos built for C&O and the last steam locos built by Baldwin for a US railroad.
