East Broad Top now Handicap Accessible
Posted by TomDiehl on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 3:48 PM

The Friends of the East Broad Top just completed the conversion of an original East Broad Top Boxcar to an open rider car. This is the first piece of EBT rolling stock to be equipped with a wheelchair lift. The lift is battery powered and is recharged by a solar panel on the roof. So this is both ADA and "green" compatible.

I think the next goal of the FEBT should be to convince the EBT to take credit cards....
