Update, not part of article:
5/6 of the upper roof rolls has been stripped off. Track has been fully laid in the roundhouse. Only 5/6 stalls have rails, the other one was converted in to an office. If you look at the track behind me, you'll see how we did them. We used all thread through pipe to space, and hold them together. What I was doing is helping put the boards back to cover up part of the open pit. We used other rails as cross members over the pit, to help spread out the weight a little. We're not trusing the pit after having so many years of water in it. Progress has been amazingly well.
We plan on having the tourist train run from Samoa to Arcata, CA by the summer of 2008. This summer we hope to clear and inspect the tracks.
