Railfanning from bridges

In far upstate New York, nearly every police department will have a problem with railfans on bridges over railroads. The old fvaes of mine (Harlem Rd.,Cheektowaga-2 of them one over CSX, the other over NS) offer nice views of yard activity, but, you WILL be asked to leave by the local PD. Needless to say none of them are railfans. The subject of harrassment is touchy, but needs an outlet. Why not here? P.M.Benham
