Unless there has been a recent change 161.310 is what I heard
the UPRR use when I was in the area in October 2004.
I traveled from the San Francisco CA area to as far north as
Mount Shasta City CA and heard that channel used back in Oct 2004.
According to the Altamont Press California Railfan Timetable
this channel should be in effect from Andesite
(just north of Weed and Black Butte CA) TO Berg (just north of Marysville CA).

A pretty good on-line resource to current radio channels used on All Amtrak lines
is this website by "On-Track-on-Line".
I wish someone provided a similar listing for the freight-only trackage as well:

This should answer your question!

I believe the UP road is 161.310. Not sure about switching.
