Thanks for the info!
Pre EHH -
One local worked out of Curtis Bay in Baltimore to Emory Grove to exchange interchange with the Maryland Midland and perform the local work between Westport and Emory Grove, returning to Curtis Bay to tie up.
The Rock Runner goes on duty at Hanover and gets their loaded train at Vulcan Materials quarry and deliver part of the train to Westport and taking the balance of the train to a facility at Fort Meade Jct, MD, the crew then taxi's back to Hanover. A companion crew then goes on duty and taxi's to Fort Meade Jct and moves the empties back to Vulcan, picking up at Westport on the way past.
There is a local that goes on duty at Hanover and performs local work between Emory Grove and Highfield and returns to Hanover with all the outbound.
There is a local that goes on duty at Hagerstown, it performs local work Hagerstown to Highfield and road haul work between Hagerstown and Hanover; it will take the outbound from Hanover back to Hagerstown.
The on duty times change as necessary as either directed by MofW work or by Customer directive.
After EHH - who knows, I retired Dec. 2016.
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
I have been gaining information on the CSX Hanover Sub. There are a few trains a day that run through, including locals and the rockrunner. If anyone knows when the locals go on duty and where they start on duty I'd love to know! Thanks.
