you might want to try the c@o historical society websites from more information on that scheme.

First of all[#welcome] to the forums.

As for Any Chesapeake & Ohio steam power;Black,with yellow(more gold) lettering.

Even though the pictures are in B & W,look in Huddleston's book C & O Power.
You should be able to tell reasonably well.

Being Crazy,keeps you from going "INSANE" !! "The light at the end of the tunnel,has been turned off due to budget cuts" NOT AFRAID A Vet., and PROUD OF IT!!

does anyone knows what the paint schemes were used on the c&o steam engines between yrs 1935-55 mainly the coal and lumber roads .in wv thanks
