old trians i was givin?

hello to everyone im not sur what im saying here but i was givin 5 old trains sets and was wondering what i have here they range from 1948 to 1960 and 2- ho scale sets from 1974 that were a promo set for polaroid and never taken out of the boxes all are in good shape.the large trains only got use at christmas around the tree. looking for info on this stuff

Hi Doug,
I'm going to guess that the large trains are Lionel or American Flyer. Does the tracks have three rails? Check and see if the cars, enginee have numbers on them, or maybe the boxes if you have them.
