In some ways you can't blame the railroad police for being a little more cautious. Even long before September 11th railroads still had to contend with thieves and vandalism. Joyriders were also a big problem. With injury lawsuits being even more common and insurance costs through the roof nowadays that's all the more reason for them to be concerned. <br /> <br />I've never had any problems though. So long as you stay a safe distance from the tracks, remain on public property and don't get in the way they won't really hassle you.
