JoeKoh
In my posting of the 13th I mentioned my lack of knowledge about a wye at Butler, IN. I passed through there today and. . . sure enough! . . . there was a westbound NS intermodal very slowly curling towards the SOUTH, entering the old Wabash line! It would seem that section of the wye is already in place and functioning quite well. It's on the very eastern edge of town, right at the old crossing diamonds you probably know well. It isn't readily apparent to me where the eastbound trains can access that line going either north or south, however.

I spotted CSX #7590. . . I believe a DASH 8. . . as the second unit on a westbound Norfolk Southern auto rack train this afternoon. The lead was Wisconsin Central #7637. Like everyone has been saying, you sure don't need to travel far these days to enjoy "foreign road" power!
