spbed makes a good point. Most places are already frequented by railfans. <br /> <br />I have always stuck to the rule that if you stay in a particular region, eventually you will become a familiar face and not considered otherwise. I have never had a problem, even when I go outside my normal spots to new places. I have only been asked once by any police or security what I was doing. Even then they where fine with it as long as I stayed on public property (that was NS Police in Atlanta). <br /> <br />Mr. Zimmer: A grown man standing trackside was suspicious long before 9/11!!!!!
