Saras Condition: Better and Famous!
Posted by bnsfkline on Friday, December 19, 2003 8:20 AM
Well, Good News. Sara is back to her normal self. However, She will be in a imovable slinge for 6 weekss while she does the Radiation therepy. But hers some intresting a surprising news about her.

She is a Celbrity know.

It seems like that Sara is the first person in her age group to get cancer on the Nervous system under the age of 50. Her case is the first in the world for her age group. Doctors from Around the WORLD have sent cards and have came to meet with her. For example, Yesterday when I went to the Hospital to visit, there was a doctor from Nagoya, Japan/Berlin Germany, and Moscow Russia, visiting with her. She had been the talk with doctors around the world since Monday, when, the Anouncment was made via a Medical Journal. Since Tuesday, She has recieved cards from doctors and Nurses from around the globe. From Places such as Japan, China, Russia, India, Australia, New Zeland, Papa New Guine, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Tibet, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Kuwat, most of Europe, all of North America and Most of Africa, and from Brazil. She leaves the hospital today, and will be going back to school on the 5nd of January.

BTW, She is back to normal....She kicked me like she normaly doers and her stanima is back. Her heart rate is back to normal, her temprature is normal, her breathing is normal, everything is fine with her now. However, get wells are still apreciated. You can send her Get well cards Via my E-mail were I will give them to her or E-mail them to her, but she won't be able to get them right away.

PS, On the way to the hospital, I was stopped by a Norfolk Southern train switchin the Ford plant with a Brand New SD70M! :)

Jim and Sara

Glad to hear that things are going better for you two. This downturn certainly is not as bad as the original situation. But, of course, that does not make it good, either. I had (I guess, I always will have - it's in remission) cancer some years ago, and the treatment and recovery were not always pleasant and there were downturns from time to time. I guess my point is, take one thing at a time, don't let these downturns get to your emotions and don't give up. You need to be like the old sailing ships and storms, the ship would "heave to" and wait out the storm or if it could go around it, it would do that. But the captains never gave up. If going forward was too tough, they waited until they could, but they never gave up.

The two of you are in Sues and my thoughts. Report back "often" with your news. Be a survivor. When things go bad, go forward; when things go good, go forward a little faster.
Eric
