And for another question (I'll ask it in here instead of starting another thread), how long did leases on GE locos last in the 90s? 10 years? Was this set by GE or on an individual term lease basis with the railroads? Those GE financing terms is what put them in the sales lead, but how many diesels were sold outright vs. being leased. It seems that after the -7s and LMX units, there haven't been any Dash 8s or Dash 9s returned to GE when their leases expired.

How long did BN have the Power by the Hour contract on these things for? I know after the lease ran out that many of them were sold to other leasing companies and shortlines/regionals.
