BTW does anyone know offhand how many in-service engines the B'ner has in service, approximately?
No, I haven't seen that particular logo on the front of a green BNSF engine, but it is certainly well familiar to me from the sides of some TOFC that I have seen going thru Rochelle, IL and also it was (or has been and still is?) used for many years on the sides of the fluted bi-level Metra coaches running the "Raceway," BNSF's only commuter line into Chicago. The original BN green-diag is not that unusual but no, I've never seen them together.

I caught this fellow in Torrance CA today. I've never seen the Burlington Northern colors modified this way. Has anyone else seen one like this?
