What was the mechanical layout and workings of the towers?? Photos do not reveal how coal was loaded into the bins, how ash got to the "ash bin", where the ash pans were dumped, etc. Some photos show a steam power scoop in attendance, what was its purpose? Was a mechanical layout drawing of these towers ever published by Trains or MRR?
