I like it a lot better. The format is easier to navigate thru and it has already made me read more of it instead of just scrolling down and deleting it.

I guess I go against the grain when I say I liked the old format better. I don't mind change-change is good-but why fix something when "it ain't broke"?.

The new HTML format for your newsletter is great! The colors separate the sections better and subconsciously generate more excitement for the written material.

I have long awaited this fantastic change to occur since there was a poll a few months back on HTML newsletters. I love the format, and I no longer have to drive myself batty squinting to read the plain text. As long as these don't become loaded with ads, please keep sending HTML newsletters. I do feel sorry for those who can't read these properly, try to fix that if you can.

The format is good in that the topics are seperated and highlighted so that it's easier and quicker to find stuff. But make the font slightly bigger by 1 or 2 points.

Aside from as always being initially slightly unsettled by change, I like it very much. It starts immediately with the news, which I'm always interested in, and then moves on to the "feature" parts, which sometimes I want and sometimes I don't. As always, the commentary is terse, clear and detailed. Hard to see how you could improve on it. So now you can go back to writing articles!

Excellent Format! I've always been impressed with Trains Magazine and its willingness
to try new things to improve this hobby by using the best reporting techniques available.
This new format is more concise and user friendly; Good Choice!

I like the new format better. I had to look it over a bit to find everything, but it is all there. Very neatly done!

The new format doesn't do much for me. Some of your text must be in light colours. I amd colour blind and light colours afford little or no contrast making items totally dissappear. Example the head lines for the History Channel DVDs and the Rail Europe article are a wash.

There's a News Wire link at the top center of the email. Might be easy to miss among all the other stuff, but it's definitely there.

Life is a series of sucessive approximations. I think this is a good start, but another try is needed. The use of RED makes it easy to find the topics, but the menu line at the top is very difficult to read. I suggest using RED letters on a yellow background.

The basic format is a two column presentation, but the second column is not obvious. This is the problem with many of the Web presentations. So many use the shotgun approach which results in a lot of unrelated information thrown together that the mind must sort out. The mind must translate the second column as a separate subject matter. A verticle division line would make it much quicker to grasp.

You are on the right TRACK, but the roadbed needs some imporvements for high speed operation.

I have exceeded the 100 character limit, but this limitation prevents you from constructive responses.

I am not a 'computer geek' and find the new format 'not in my best interest' - our local newspaper just went to a 'new format' and it is so hard to read that I cancelled my subscription. If you do this to Trains Magazine I'll cancel my subscription to it also. As for this format. Yuk.
