Just finished reading the five pages of posts regarding the IC. I want to congratulate everyone who posted for keeping to the topic. It is interesting to read the history involved as to why a particular railroad operated the way it did. It is too easy to forget in today's deregulated world what railroading was like in a regulated world. Kudos to the posters that offered their knowledge from the inside as to what this regulated world was like.
Again I want to thank the posters for keeping to the topic, It makes reading a post both enjoyable and informative.
