I'll agree that it's ugly but just about anything that's designed for export isn't going to look too good because of weight and clearance restrictions that are inherent in the design. Also leaning toward ugly is the GT46MAC on Indian Railways which is an EMD product.
Better looking designs include the DL500C (ALCO's World Locomotive), the G12 (an EMD light road-switcher) and the R615E (Baldwin's answer to the World Locomotive).
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Only carrier that I'm aware of is Pakistan Railways. There is also a demonstrator floating around. The Blue Tiger is an export design DE33AC.
