STAY OUT OF THE WATER UNLESS IT ONLY A FEW INCHES DEEP.
CSX NS IC KCS & BNSF ARE THE MAIN ROADS THRU HERE BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF SHORT LINES ALSO MERRIDIAN IS A GOOD SPOT FOR
KCS & NS ARE THE MAIN ROADS IN THE BIGGEST CITY OF OLE MISS
A LOT OF TRAINS RUN BACK AND FORTH FROM JACKSON AND BIRMINGHAM ALSO NEW ORLEANS

Meridian is indeed a big RR town. NS, KCS, M&B RR and Meridian Southern all coming together within a few blocks. Good view from the 22nd Avenue overpass down near the KCS office and Union Station. Amtrak's Crescent in both directions too. Probably warm enough down there this year to make train hopping decent this time of year, eh SLIC? I wouldn't want to get caught at it though. In Mississippi they still have chain gangs, real ones with cannon shot chained to your legs and real nifty striped and numbered prison clothes...

your right LC but the weather is to messed up in texas to leave out like they say dont like the weather wait a minute itll change hot to warm back to hot then hard freeze warnings merridian is good train watching but you cant beat chicago every 5 minutes you see a train some where but its to hard to get around there so much traffic so little time
