Columbus Wye

In the City Park at Columbus, KS is a piece of track. It is a sort of star-shaped bit, where three lines crossed in different directions at one point. The notice boards imply, but do not explain, that there was some provision for switching between lines. Can anybody tell me what the overall track layout was?
