Minnesota Zephyr maybe close down?

I don't have a link to any articles, but the owner of the dinner train is considering retiring and selling the track to the state for a bike trail. If the state doesn't buy the track he would consider selling off the entire business to someone else to operate the dinner train. If they did sell the track to the state, would they try to shore up the track going south of town or just put the engines and cars on semis and take them out of town that way? I do  know of the tracks taken up in downtown. It wouldn't be that hard to put them back down temporarily.
